none Objectives of the Capacity Building Pre-Council
The Capacity Building Pre-Council is a common training for associations to be affiliated, emerging groups interested in affiliation and affiliated associations.
The objectives of the training are:
  • To facilitate the integration of new members to the collective power of YWCA women committed to change lives and communities;
  • To share about the reality of the context and activities of new associations;
  • To provide further information for new associations to improve their knowledge about the movement and its way of working;
  • To provide a space for affiliated associations to discuss common issues and to share solutions;
  • To prepare new associations for the affiliation ceremony; and
  • To build a network with each other.
 
Programme Content

The programme content of this training comprises a core programme for the first day and two parallel sessions for the second day as indicated in the two programmes for new and affiliated associations. Participants will attend the one, which suits best according to the category of the association.

 
Categories of the Participants
  • Presidents, General Secretaries and Young Women of the associations to be affiliated.
  • Representatives from the emerging groups of interest in affiliation.
  • Representatives of affiliated associations.
